Take a look at a few of my finalized projects, I consider these to be the highlights of my career so far.
Digital Info, Powerful Effect
LAKIOO is the ultimate combination of my experience, problem solving skills, hard work & ability to learn new things. This project took over 3 years of persistent dedication and re-thinking my approach to designing as a whole.
My responsibilities as team leader for this project were:
- Designing the software's UI and UX
- Shaping initial ideas into polished features, that help the end-user
- Creating tasks for programmers, bug-testing and returning with feedback
- Designing the LAKIOO.COM website, shooting and editing the promo video, and much more
- Visual rebranding from INFOKIOSK to LAKIOO, for worldwide markets
what is lakioo?
Well, it’s many things joined into one concise, streamlined & user friendly software suite, primarily used for creation and management of digital signage screens. Watch our Promo video where marketing director Evka explains, what is LAKIOO.

From the start, we knew that unlike other solutions for creation and management of digital signage, LAKIOO has to be designed with the user in mind, it might seem obvious, but in reality, it is so rare that we couldn’t find one good example, that didn’t use outdated and cumbersome UI/UX that, to be honest, looks like taken straight out of Windows XP…
So instead, we took inspiration from software used for graphics creation, that rely on large canvas, which makes it easy for user to see, what he is creating. Many digital signage CMS don’t actually let the user see right away, what he or she created, without first opening the preview.

When you are a full-time content creator, you need to get paid for the time spent creating content, usually creators get paid by serving advertisements on their platform. But advertisements can get blocked by browser extensions, which means their paycheck will be reduced considerably…
But, what if you instead embedded the campaign into the live-stream directly? Like this, it is not only more engaging, but also impossible to block or hide!
Over the years, I’ve been working with CAVEA to present many global brands and their products in the most eye-catching way, embedded directly into live-streams of many creators.

How It Works?
When clients want to begin an advertising campaign like this, they usually give a general overview of products and claims they want to promote. It is then my job to look at the client’s visual identity, and come up with an attractive, eye catching design, that conveys this message and effectively advertises the product.
For example, have a look at this campaign for Romanian company called NutLine. They are not particularly known outside of Romania, so it’s my responsibility to view & understand their design language, so I can create an appropriately looking campaign, that promotes their products in the most attractive way.
How It Looks In Action
This is how it looks like when streamer plays the advertisement, when it’s playing, they usually have a chatbot setup, so that it sends a link a in the chat, when the CTA of the advertising campaign appears.

As I always like to learn new skills, back at the start of 2023 I started learning the Unity engine and C#, which resulted in this little mobile game.
The premise of this game is very simple, yet challenging, the player moves the ship left to right to avoid the incoming asteroids, with every obstacle cleared, the ship speeds up and the obstacles come at the player faster.
After the inevitable high-speed collision with one of the space bodies, the player can compare their hiscore against other players through the online leaderboard.
