about me

The Story Behind My Creative Path

Born in 1999 in the small town of Sobrance, Slovakia. From an early age, I was surrounded by various kinds of technology and electronics, thanks to my dad. Our home was always full of tech and computers. Which meant, I became familiar with all things digital at very young age, forming the backbone of my creative and technical journey.

While my grandfather and uncle are both painters, I didn’t take long to realize, that traditional mediums aren’t for me. Instead, I found my own creative outlet through digital tools. Around 2014, I started editing videos in (then Sony) Vegas and playing around with Photoshop, which soon led me to learn Illustrator and other software from the Adobe suite. Not long after, as a 17 year old, I began creating digital ads, graphics, and menus for local bars and restaurants by 2017.

At the end of 2018, I moved to Bratislava and joined LAKIOO as a graphic and motion designer for digital signage information screens. There, I quickly took on more responsibility, eventually becoming a team leader for development and testing of our LAKIOO app suite, which we just began developing. During this time, I also began worked remotely for CAVEA as a creative director, where I was responsible for conceptualizing and creating animated advertising campaigns for big name clients such as Pepsi, Nyx, Philips and others.

my hobbies & interests

My hobbies and interests tend to blend creativity and tech. I mostly focus on hobbies that elevate my skills and therefore help me grow both as a designer and a problem-solver:

  • Photography – Primarily automotive, captured with my Sony A7iii mirrorless camera

  • 3D Printing & CAD – Working in Fusion 360 and 3D printing my own designs for many real-world applications

  • Programming – mainly in Python and less so in C#, which I used in order to develop my own android game in Unity engine

  • IT & Technology – A lifelong passion for everything from hardware to emerging tech

  • Automotive – I am a huge “petrolhead” and work on my cars in my spare time, it’s a great way to refocus after staring at screens for hours
