AMPCO USA needed a visual way to communicate its connection to AMPCO’s worldwide distribution and support network.

challenge
The animation needed to communicate a complex global network clearly while remaining flexible enough to be adapted for other AMPCO entities and markets.

solution
I designed and animated a modular world map, separating the artwork into individually editable layers in Illustrator for flexible animation in After Effects. The reusable setup allows locations, routes and highlighted regions to be easily changed for other purposes or AMPCO entities.
